Food Truck Family

Our Food Truck Season is over for 2021.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our Past Trucks

Shwarma Republic

Artem used to work in an office for many years. He always had the ambition of owning his own business. Last year, right before the pandemic struck, he opened his own food truck. They specialize in European style shawarmas. Artem was surprised that there were no places in the area that sold this type of food so he decided to make it happen.

Empanadas de mendoza

Gabi started this business in 2013 at a local Farmers Market sharing her culture and how empanadas mean family, friends, and fun in her home town Mendoza, Argentina.

A year later Gabi married Tyler, who had a big passion for food trucks and the real adventure starts... They got so booked that they had to quit their full time jobs and committed to serve the most fresh and delicious hand made to order empanadas in the area. After 2 years of making a lot of customers very happy, they opened a store front in Lorton, VA where they also host parties so everyone in the area could share empanadas with family, friends, and have all the fun!

Roaming Coyote

Roaming Coyote was one of the first food trucks that came out and joined Fairfax Foodies when we launched in the midst of Covid-19. Roaming Coyote is the food truck for the popular Coyote Grille in Fairfax. They have hand crafted tacos, mini chimis, and a selection of house-made sauces. Their menu is absolutely delicious and you can't pick an item and go wrong with it.

Zainy's Flyin' Grill

Zainy's Flyin' Grill is owned by the husband and wife duo, Yousef and Zainab. They are known for their delicious puffy tacos which will blow your taste buds out of the water. Their goal isn't to just serve another good meal, but to deliver a great experience. Keep your eyes on the lookout for their eye catching pink food truck on the road.

Little Lady Grill

Little Lady Grill is a new truck joining the Fairfax Foodies Family this year. They are known for their incredible grilled platters and flavorful sandwiches. Their Yelp reviews rock a solid 5-star rating too!

PhoWheels

PhoWheels was the first truck to join the Fairfax Foodies Family. From the very beginning we have partnered with PhoWheels. They make incredible vietnamese tacos, bah mi, and pho. Everything on the menu is worth trying!

Bun'd Up

On Fathers Day I got to try Bun'd Up and their food was to die for. They are "putting a modern twist on Taiwanese gun bao". Bun'd Up is also known for being at Union Market, Pike Central Market, and Bethesda Central Market on the regular.

Rocklands BBQ

If you haven't had Rocklands BBQ, you are missing out. Rocklands has been around the DMV for 30 years, but as of 2016, they started hitting the road in their food truck! What are they going to be serving up? They have platters, sandwiches, and sides. They also have a delicious bowl of "Rocklands Pearl" which consists of a Macaroni & Cheese Base, layered with Barbequed Baked Beans, and Chopped Pork!

Blue City

Blue City is coming to the Mosby Woods Neighborhood! Blue City specialized in Indian Street Food. Dishes are made to be shared so order a few for the family and eat them family-style around the table.

Blue City has three philosophies when it comes to their business:

- Do a few things, but do them exceptionally well

- Live fully... eat tastefully - focus on flavor, family, friends, and fun

- Give back - Help feed children in need.

DC Steakholders

I was reading an article in Northern Virginia Magazine that talked about ten food trucks serving comfort food during Covid-19. DC Steakholders made the list and when I heard they offered cheesesteaks, burgers, and milkshakes, I was sold.

Two Smooth Dudes

Two Smooth Dudes is known for their gourmet tater tots and boy are the incredible! They drew so much attention that they also ended up on Good Morning America. If you have the chance to check them out, your stomach will thank you!
